Creating a garden is more than just planting a few seeds or plants. It’s an opportunity to connect with nature and cultivate a space that reflects your personality and values. A garden can be a place of solace, where you can escape the noise and hustle of daily life and find peace and tranquility. It can also be a place to connect with others, whether that’s through sharing your harvest with friends and family or getting involved in community gardening initiatives.
For us, gardening is a way to connect with each other and with the world around us. We love the satisfaction of growing our own food and flowers and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.
In our Zone 3 garden in Calgary, AB, we face some unique challenges, including a short growing season and harsh winters. But we’re determined to make the most of what we have and to create a vibrant, thriving garden that reflects our passion and commitment.
That’s why we’re excited to start an urban micro flower farm. We believe that flowers are a powerful way to connect with others and add beauty and joy to our lives. Our goal is to create a space where we can grow a variety of beautiful and unique flowers, from classic roses to wildflowers and native species. We’re also committed to using sustainable and eco-friendly practices, including composting, using organic fertilizers, and pest control methods when and where possible.
Through our urban micro flower farm, we hope to inspire others to connect with nature, grow their own food and flowers, and live more sustainably. We believe that a garden is more than just a place to grow plants; it’s a place to nurture our souls and build community. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our little corner of the world!
